On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the opening ceremony of the academic year, the rector's awards for outstanding teachers were presented. Two of the prizes were received by our colleagues from DMS dr. Marie Budíková a prof. Michal Veselý.

Marie Budíková



She has worked at the faculty since 1980. Her focus is on teaching statistics and probability, as well as preparing future secondary school mathematics teachers.

Michal Veselý



He teaches courses focused on mathematical analysis. Students rate his lectures highly for their engaging and clear nature, and for his ability to combine theory with practical examples.
